Almost impenetrably written, it’s hard for me to know what this book is about. In essence, hotshot mountain biker is wild, free and lives on the edge. Hotshot chiropractor is uptight and hides in her work. Mountain biker could benefit from a bit more structure, chiropractor could benefit from a bit more down time. Their eyes meet, they have some struggles, etc. etc.
Includes scenes in which they have what seems to be a regular conversation, but it’s presented as totally revealing and soul searching, making you think the rest of the time they are literally just having sex or talking about work. There are some ex’s around, and some friends around, they go biking together, and the mountains sound lovely, but it didn’t do much for me.
