Our eyes met across a crowded room somewhere on the UK’s south coast. The Outdoors Type bought the Long Tall Sheriff a cider. We swooned. We sighed. We lived happily ever after.
Now we read romance novels while we’re not hiking mountains or saving lives or having wild sex or drinking coffee or running amazing business empires or just being generally irresistibly magnetic.
We like lesbian romance. Can you tell? As boring grown-ups, we think it’s important to be able to identify with the lives and dreams of the protagonists, and it does lesbians good to have aspects of our lives reflected back at us positively. Even if it’s absurd.
We applaud all the authors that write lesbian fiction, but we are particularly fond of the ones that do it well!
Our reviews are based on what we tell each other when we’ve finished reading the books. And we don’t take them too seriously when we read them.
To any authors we might be mean about: we’re sorry! Keep going. Focus on the five star reviews on Amazon instead 🙂
